Delete your SlotCut account

You can delete your account yourself at any time, without contacting us. In the SlotCut app:

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm that you understand the deletion cannot be undone, then confirm once more.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period, no recovery window and no way to restore the account afterwards. You are signed out on every device straight away.

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email benagonapps@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you registered with, so we can verify the request. We action verified requests within 30 days, on the same terms as a deletion made in the app.

• Your name, phone number, email address, saved location and profile photo are removed from your account record.
• Your password and notification tokens are destroyed.
• Your favourite salons, loyalty point balances and notification history are deleted.
• Any booking still awaiting payment is cancelled.

Your phone number is released, so you are free to register a new SlotCut account with it later.

Bookings, payments and reviews are kept. They are business records belonging to the salons you visited, and payment records in particular must be retained to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations in India. These records are kept for as long as those obligations require.

Your name and contact details are stripped from them, so they no longer identify you — a salon sees a past appointment with no customer attached, and reviews you left stay published without your name.

We will not delete your account while you have an upcoming appointment, because a salon would be left holding a slot for someone who no longer exists. Cancel the appointment first, then delete the account — the app tells you what is in the way.
